In addition to our previous post about how to start a penny auction slowly, we would like to tell you about the system, that is used at Bidrivals.com and Ziinga.com.
1) the auction is started with a countdown timer that is set to 5 hours, for instance.
2) all bids made to the auction before the countdown goes below 15 secs do nothing to the timer. It just keeps counting down.
3) any bid placed within the last 15 secs resets the time to 15 secs.
Interesting that there is no information about this system on the above mentioned websites.
